What exactly is a building inspector ?and do I need inspection report?

How long would it take for me to obtain the report following the inspection?
Full name • Mobile number • Email address • Project/property address • Contact information for your building administrator or real estate agent • Contact information for your site supervisor (if relevant).
Building plans/drawings (if available).
May I accompany Owner Inspections during the inspection?
Without a shadow of a doubt! Please do not hesitate to contact the inspector if you have any questions or concerns. They will answer promptly.
We strongly advise you to tell us ahead of time if the inspection appointment is modified or cancelled. We also recommend that you notify your site supervisor so that they can advise you on your OHS responsibilities.
Can I postpone my inspection if there are construction or weather delays, budgetary concerns, or other issues?
Yes, of course. We will reschedule your inspection at no cost if you and/or your Site Supervisor/Agent send us an email to info@kemetbc.com.au with at least 24 business hours’ notice.

How long does it take to complete the inspection?
For each stage of construction, a property inspection typically takes 1-2 hours. PCI and pre-purchase inspections, on the other hand, might take up to 2-3 hours. The length can also vary based on the project’s complexity, the number of discovered problems, and the weather.

How to pay the inspection fee?
You can pay by direct bank transfer or by credit/debit card online.
We will supply you with a tax receipt that you can use for tax deduction reasons if you claim the inspection charge.
